I am a teacher. I can't spell well or speak correctly. How did I ever become a teacher you ask? Only God. It's a long story. I am an introvert. I think more than I speak. I enjoy being alone, and at home as much as possible. I want to reflect God's love to every person God brings to me. I am married to a wonderful, caring, supportive man. He loves to help others, and is willing to listen and talk to those in need. He loves to garden, and work outside. Cookies are his favorite. We love drinking coffee and eating cookies together. I have a burden for hurting children. I wish all children everywhere, felt love, safety and security, from not only their Heavenly Father, but also from a family that cares more about the needs of their children then their own personal needs. I love looking for small glimpses of God's great love. They are all around us, every day. Have you noticed? Do you know of God's love for you?

summer fishing

I've had the privilege of going fishing this summer, a new hobby I've definitely fell in love with. It's so relaxing and peaceful to be out in God's creation, with my brothers, watching the sun set, and maybe even catching a fish. A place to get away and block out all of the worries and frustrations of life. I may not be an expert at catching fish, but that doesn't mean I'm going to quit. Going fishing is not about catching fish.

Yeh, Amanda, it is fun. I don't get out often, but Daddy and I go together from time to time. We sort of have a joke as to who can catch the most fish. One time he thought we had limited out on bass, and so we threw one of mine back--one of the nicest we had caught that night. After we got on shore, we found out that we could have kept it after all. I teased Daddy that he threw it back because me keeping it would have meant I got more fish than him. :-) Anyway... Keep making memories with your brothers. Time flies, and you'll never have this season of your life again. (How well I know!)

Love ya, girl!
